a poet's perspective~

Lone spectator in front row seat with a ticket for nature's grand display--  Evening stars upon a deep blue canvas, filling the sky---multi-colors of purple, lavender, gray, the color of polished steel with deep fuschia and pink wisps of clouds, I walk along a sandy beach----gazing out across blue-green waters, peaceful and serene....waves meet me at the water's edge as I cautiously tentatively leave the shore, wading out into the water...I roll up my white canvas pants while sand squishes between my toes....the last remnants of the sun setting in the far horizon.... smelling the salt from the sea as a gentle cool breeze blows in  ever softly caressing my face. There's that irritating noise again....the sound of a ringing telephone *sighs*...rudely jolted from my reverie somewhere between half-asleep---half-awake.....I remember now, I drifted off while sitting here at my desk, trying to figure out what I was doing wrong with these templates, the designs....of course this being the very first time I have blogged, though I have been writing for many years, Could it possibly be that I'm more than a little sleepy as I try to figure out a  meaningful title then, there are the many different designs, colors, templates to choose from for my personal blog?-----Learning a little each time as I go---wanting this to be not only a positive learning experience but the wish to make new friends, sharing thoughts, interests in common as we all learn while taking a walk down the road on this journey........
I look forward to reading others' blogs. I noticed one earlier, a diary-like blog for a first-time father & the fact he is experiencing sleep deprivation-----feeling for him assuredly...though knowing he will pass the test with flying colors, eventually :) While gaining valuable information through the struggles & triumphs....trial-by-error seems to be the best teacher it seems----there aren't any how-to manuals to parenting that's for certain....It's mostly "DIY" every step of the way,  hopefully with a little help from grandparents, aunts, uncles, sisters, brothers and friends thrown in there for good measure.
I believe I am going to enjoy this experience, although it's going to take some time to become accustomed to all the gadgets, buttons labels optiions. It might take some time, but I have always been a quick learner.....

Looking forward to this journey into the world of blogging...........

Blessings~
